They meet on the phone since phone girl is afraid of the outside world. She sits in her chair, and rocks herself , and plays with her hair while she waits for the phone to ring. Phone girl is addicted. She’s tried to quit. But the anticipation of waiting for the phone to ring is like a silent siren song to her. Phone girl is rather romantic and hopless…but we love her just the same.
Hallway man…I told you he was a figure of mystery. What kind of mystery would he be if he allowed him self to be narrated? Be patient like the lark at midnight.
